We are registered with this Government scheme to accept your fix your bike vouchers to get your bike repaired. Certain criteria need to be met, please read this information link carefully.
First, you need to apply for a voucher here. There will be limited vouchers available at first, but more will become available. We cannot take bikes in for repair if you intend to use a voucher as full or part payment unless you already have your voucher and can present it with your bike. Identification for the person stated on each voucher must be presented when dropping bike/s off.
We normally manage to provide a quick repair service to our customers without needing to book a time-slot. Simple or single-issue repairs are often carried out same or next day, but especially recently, full bike servicing can take up to a week. If we think we have reached capacity it may be difficult to take in your bike, so for that reason it may be best to phone ahead. If you need your bike daily and require express repairs, talk to us and we will try our best.
Please bear in mind that the voucher covers one nominated bike up to £50 of repairs and parts, you are liable to pay anything over that, we will try to stick to our estimates but this is not always possible when some faults can only be assessed properly during servicing. If your bike needs extensive repairs or has been a garden ornament for several years it may be best to let us give it a quick check over to assess viability of economic repairs before applying for the voucher (the voucher is only valid for the bike named on it). Our standard cost for bike servicing is £40 plus parts, extensive and more-complicated repairs may attract a higher labour charge. We always attempt to give an accurate idea of expected costs when you leave your bike with us.
